The new illegal downloaders law will begin in New Zealand in September. I'm pretty peeved about it actually, what right do the big record and movie corporations have in sending spies out onto these file sharing websites to weed out select downloaders and hand over their IP address so that three warnings can be sent and then if they don't comply be fined $15,000. The law also practically insinuates that you are guilty until proven innocent and then have to prove your innocence in court.

I've decided to do a focus exercise for my writing. As I am notorious for not finishing much of my longer writing projects I have decided to......
AND I CAN'T BELIEVE I AM SAYING THIS
........Write a fan fiction.
I am being a hypocrite, as I frown upon ripping other peoples work off. But as I see it (and this is just self-justification) if I use the structure of a prevelent and popular franchise's storyline and keep faithfully to the canon of that fiction plus only write for my personal enjoyment I think that I can do it at least some justice.
My choice would have to be Pokemon though as I know more about the canon of that fictional unive
